I recently acquired this old school British-made bicycle from Jennifer's friend (just because it did not fit Jennifer!) and was told to take good care of it. It is a fine example of the early 1980s "sport touring" bicycle with a nice Reynolds 531 frame and fork and outfitted with an international mix of mid-range components of the period. For a small sized bicycle (52mm C-C), it has a slack seat angle (73º?) and quite a long top tube (55mm) – which suits me just fine! The bike is well used and could really use a repaint (the top tube is very chipped and touched up with non-matching paint – looks like liquid paper!) – but what a shame to lose the decals... |
