When I was living / working in Taipei, I met Josh Hon (the son of Dahon founder) at a restaurant (Grandma Nitti's!) – and the next week bought this bike directly from him – and it has moved with me ever since! I have made some modifications to the bike – the most significant being the change to a Sturmey-Archer internal 7-speed hub – made in England (pre-Sun Race purchase)...still working, but kind of ornery – very British.
